Description
The main applications are
- Acquiring power for track-powered DCC decoders or other modules
- Improving the power pickups for some locomotives that benefit from improved electrical pickups in the tender
These little strips of stainless steel fit between the truck pivot and the axles as shown in the diagram below. Use the supplied hardware to mount the wiper through the truck frame s shown. Use contact inside the car to pick up the power. Put the insulated wheels on the same side in each truck and on opposite sides between trucks.
